Aleks Sheynkman is the Director of Engineering for SpaceIQ. He joined the company in 2016 and has been instrumental in building the company’s workplace management platform into a solution used by companies large and small.
He has more than 17 years’ of experience in engineering leadership, project management, software architecture, and design. His diverse background as an entrepreneur, engineering director, product designer, architect, and software developer has impacted global, interdisciplinary teams and the success of several startups.
Aleks began his career as a software engineer with Narus, Inc. In 2010, Aleks became Engineering Manager of the Cloud Platform for Deutsche Telekom HBS where he single-handedly developed messaging SaaS-based architecture to support WhatsApp, an application that unified all social feeds into one application. He was the co-founder and platform architect for Truvolo, a connected car SaaS and mobile (iOS and Android) solution for safer and smarter driving.
